Desert Soap Box Derby with Mountains in the BackgroundNovember 19, 2011 - 9am - 1pm - Clinic at Palm Desert Community Center for Rally Race preparation and car building. All first time racers are encouraged to participate in clinics to gain valuable knowledge and experience the "Derby lifestyle." Get directions to Palm Desert Community Center.

December 3, 2011 – 9 am -1 pm – Clinic at La Quinta  Community Center for rally race inspection and weigh-ins for our local racers (although all cars are weighed and inspected on the morning of the rally, our local racers will have the opportunity to pick up cars and weigh-in one week ahead so they are ready for the first rally race). Get directions to La Quinta Community Center.

December 10, 2011 – Palm Desert Rally Race Weekend on Gateway Drive. There will be one double elimination race followed by a single elimination race. Check-in starts at 6 am and race begins at 9 am. If you've never raced before, don't forget to bring your birth certificate. Entry fee is $35 per race.

January 28, 2012 – 9am – 12 pm –  Build Clinic at La Quinta  Community Center

February 11, 2012 – 9am – 1pm –  Build Clinic at Palm Desert  Community Center

February 18, 2012 – 9am – 1pm –  Build Clinic at La Quinta  Community Center

February 25, 2012 – Palm Desert Rally Race Weekend on Cortesia Way.  There will be a double elimination race followed by a single elimination race. Check-in starts at 6 am and race begins at 9 am. 

March 10, 2012 – 9am – 1pm – Build Clinic at La Quinta Community Center

March 23, 2012 – 2pm – 9pm – Mandatory Car Impound Night

March 24, 2012 – Local Race Day - Starts at 9 a.m.
(just above Fritz Burns Park) in La Quinta off Avenida Bermudas.
